Embark on a spiritual journey with Varanasi Tourism Centre’s 5 Nights / 6 Days Jain Pilgrimage Tour of North India, designed to immerse you in peace, devotion, and the timeless teachings of Jainism. North India holds immense significance in Jain heritage — Ayodhya, celebrated as the kingdom of Lord Rama, is also the birthplace of five of the twenty-four Tirthankaras, including the revered Rishabhnath Ji, the first Tirthankara.
This sacred journey takes you through Varanasi, the eternal city on the banks of the Ganges, and Prayagraj (Allahabad), where you’ll seek blessings at the Digambara Jain Temple dedicated to Lord Adinath. Continue to Kushinagar, where Lord Mahavira, the last Tirthankara, attained Nirvana, and to Balrampur (Shravasti), the birthplace of Lord Sambhavnath Ji, the third Tirthankara.
Each destination unfolds the spiritual essence of Jainism — a pilgrimage that brings purity, peace, and enlightenment to every traveler.

Itinerary

    Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi

    Upon arrival at Varanasi airport or railway station, our representative from Varanasi Tourism Centre will assist you to your hotel. After settling in, we will visit Banaras Hindu University, one of Asia’s largest residential universities, and explore the Bharat Kala Museum on its campus. Later, we will head to Varanasi’s famous temples, including the Golden Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Durga Temple (popularly called the Monkey Temple due to its playful residents). In the evening, enjoy a serene boat ride on the Ganges, witnessing the spiritual rituals along the riverbanks. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 2: Varanasi → Prayagraj (Allahabad)

    After breakfast, drive to Prayagraj (Allahabad). On arrival, check in at the hotel. Visit the Digambara Jain Temple dedicated to Lord Adinath, explore the sacred Deeksha Sthali, and witness the confluence at the Sangam, a site of spiritual significance. Overnight stay at the hotel.

    Day 3: Prayagraj → Ayodhya

    Post breakfast, drive to Ayodhya and check in at the hotel. Explore the city’s sacred Jain sites, where five Tirthankars, including the first Tirthankar Rishabhnath Ji, were born. Ayodhya is also celebrated as the place where Lord Adinath Ji attained Deeksha (penance) and where several important events related to other Tirthankars, including Lord Ajitnath, Lord Abhinandan Swami, Lord Sumatinath, and Lord Ananthanth, took place. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 4: Ayodhya → Kushinagar

    Today, drive to Kushinagar and check in at your hotel upon arrival. Visit Fazilnagar (anciently Pawa Nagar), a site revered in both Jain and Buddhist traditions. It is believed that Lord Mahavira, the 24th and last Tirthankar, attained Nirvana here in 543 BCE. The temple in Kushinagar houses four intricately carved idols and holds immense spiritual significance. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 5: Kushinagar → Balrampur (Shravasti)

    After breakfast, head to Balrampur and check in at your hotel. Visit Shravasti, the birthplace of the third Jain Tirthankar, Lord Sambhavanath Ji. The site is a peaceful center of devotion and pilgrimage. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 6: Balrampur → Lucknow / Departure

    After breakfast, drive to Lucknow. Upon arrival, you will be assisted to the airport or railway station to connect with your onward flight or train, concluding your spiritual journey.
