Do the Kailash Parikrama (circumambulation) around Mt. Kailash (approx. 52 km) via traditional route (Dirapuk → Dolma La Pass → Zuthulphuk)
Visit Rakshas Tal, Gauri Kund, Yamdwar, Tirthapuri and other pilgrimage points around the area

Itinerary
Day 01: Varanasi → Kathmandu
Depart from Varanasi by flight to Kathmandu, Nepal.
On arrival, transfer to hotel and rest.
Evening visit Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu – Sightseeing & Permits
Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, local markets, and temples.
Complete Tibet travel permit and visa formalities.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Kathmandu → Nepalgunj / Simikot
Fly or drive to Nepalgunj / Simikot, a gateway for overland Kailash Yatra.
Rest and prepare for high-altitude travel.
Overnight stay in transit town.
Day 04: Border Crossing → Taklakot / Purang (Tibet)
Cross the Nepal-Tibet border via Hilsa / Zhangmu (depending on route).
Drive into Tibet to reach Taklakot / Purang, the first stop in Tibet.
Acclimatization and overnight stay.
Day 05: Taklakot / Purang → Mansarovar Lake
Drive to Lake Mansarovar, a sacred freshwater lake at the base of Mt. Kailash.
Perform a holy dip in the lake and offer prayers at nearby temples.
Visit Rakshas Tal, Gauri Kund, and other nearby sacred sites.
Overnight stay near Mansarovar.
Day 06: Mansarovar → Darchen (Base of Kailash)
Travel to Darchen, the base camp for Kailash Parikrama.
Evening preparation for the Parikrama trek.
Overnight stay in Darchen.
Day 07: Darchen → Dirapuk (Trek Start)
Begin Kailash Parikrama (52 km), trek or drive to Dirapuk.
Scenic views of Mt. Kailash’s north face.
Overnight stay in Dirapuk.
Day 08: Dirapuk → Dolma La Pass → Zuthulphuk
Continue Parikrama via Dolma La Pass, the highest point (~5,600–5,700 m).
Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views and the sacred landscape.
Descend to Zuthulphuk for overnight stay.
Day 09: Zuthulphuk → Darchen
Complete the final leg of the Parikrama back to Darchen.
Visit Gauri Kund and Yamdwar, completing the circumambulation of Kailash.
Overnight stay in Darchen.
Day 10: Darchen → Purang / Taklakot
Drive toward Purang / Taklakot, crossing scenic plateaus.
Visit local monasteries and experience Tibetan culture.
Overnight stay in Purang / Taklakot.
Day 11: Transit – Drive Across Tibet Plateau
Long drive through the Tibet plateau, stopping at towns like Saga or Shigatse depending on route.
Enjoy high-altitude landscapes and Tibetan monasteries.
Overnight stay in transit town.
Day 12: Tibet → Nepal Border / Kathmandu
Continue journey back across the border into Nepal (Hilsa / Kodari).
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 13: Kathmandu – Sightseeing & Shopping

Prepare for return journey to Varanasi.
